Murder Machine is a villainous character originating from DC Comics' "Dark Nights: Metal" storyline. He is one of the evil Batmen from the Dark Multiverse, each a twisted version of Bruce Wayne corrupted by a different fear or trauma.
In the prime reality, Bruce Wayne lost Alfred Pennyworth, his loyal butler and father figure. Overwhelmed by grief and the belief that he needed more power to protect Gotham, this Bruce Wayne merged his mind with an advanced A.I. program based on Alfred's intellect and personality.
This integration warped his mind. The Alfred A.I., meant to predict and counter any threat, became ruthlessly efficient, eliminating perceived dangers with lethal force. Bruce, now Murder Machine, became a relentless, unstoppable force of deadly technology.
Murder Machine possesses enhanced strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate and control machines. He uses his technological powers to reshape his environment and brutally dispatch his enemies. He ultimately serves the Batman Who Laughs and his dark agenda to corrupt the prime DC Universe.
